December 19, 2008

The accused (Marlon Martinez) in the former UCI prof (then-UCR prof)

on how Lindon was strangled.

Palling with Ayers

December 14, 2008

No need to feel guilty, even if the LA Times once intoned that Bill Ayers is “toxic”.  (So Obama better not have him as an advisor)  I have no such qualms so I’m interviewing Ayers again (15 December 2008 at 9 am) on Subversity.  He’ll talk about what educational reform he expects under Obama.  The last time Ayers was on (in April 2002), rightwing forces (six and a half years later) spirited the audio of our 2002 interview and made a smear video — attempting unsuccessfully it turned out — to get voters to vote against Obama.  (In the two weeks before the election, over 70,000 saw that video on YouTube — now over 82,000 have.)  Have a look and let us know what you think: smear video.
